About the race
The Montalto Night Endurance Challenge and Trail Races is an October 2026 event at Montalto Estate, Ballynahinch (BT24 8PT). Races use a 5 km trail and tarmac loop on private grounds. Endurance entrants complete as many loops of the 5 km circuit as they can within their chosen time slot. Trail races follow the same loop layout with a single loop for the 5 km race and two loops for the 10 km race.
Available event options include:
- 3-hour endurance (affiliated and non-affiliated)
- 6-hour endurance (affiliated and non-affiliated)
- 12-hour endurance (affiliated and non-affiliated)
- 5 km trail race single loop
- 10 km trail race two loops
All listed events award a finishers medal. Entry is offered in affiliated and non-affiliated categories. Organisers have a partnership with JustGiving to support fundraising.
