Monster Dash 5K

Monster Dash 5K is a Halloween-themed running event held on October 31, 2026, at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, BC. The event features a community-focused 5 km race and a separate 400 metre Mini Monster Dash on the stadium track for children. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.

Age and race guidelines specify that 11 to 13 year olds must be accompanied on course by a registered adult, while 14 to 17 year olds may race without an accompanying adult but require a guardian waiver. Package pickup is at Fit First Foot Wear located in Christine Sinclair Community Centre, 3713 Kensington Ave, Burnaby, BC V5B 0A7, on Friday, October 30, 2026, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Terrain includes paved pathways, grass, and loose gravel with slight inclines and uneven surfaces. Pets are not permitted inside the stadium; they may accompany spectators along the Central Park route on leash. Attendees may be photographed or recorded for promotional use.
