About the race
Confederation Park WJR is an orienteering event held on October 25th 2026 at Confederation Park. Orienteering consists of reading a detailed map and using a compass to find marked checkpoints across the terrain. Participants are advised to wear clothing that can get a little dirty and to bring a change of shoes and socks if conditions are wet. A compass is optional and loaner compasses are available.
For safety, a whistle is mandatory for all GVOC events. Event fees are listed as adult $15 and under 20 $10, with a family discount of 40 percent. Credit and debit cards are accepted on site. Annual club membership is required before first participation. If a participant cannot attend, the event organizer may refund the event fees at their discretion but processing fees will not be refunded.
If GVOC changes or cancels an event and participants request a refund, processing fees will be refunded. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
