This is a colour event with a 5k course featuring inflatable monsters placed around the route and multiple colour, bubble, and music stations. Participants may run, walk, or dance through the course and finish at a separate colour festival where a DJ and an MC provide entertainment. Merchandise stalls and additional on-site activities are part of the event day experience.
Ticket options include a Monster 5k race entry, a festival-only ticket, and a Little Monsters option for young children who wish to receive medallion and colour packs. Children aged 5 and under are free and do not need to register to take part in the run, though they will not receive certain finish-line packs unless the children's pack option is purchased. Participants aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult aged 18 or older.
Practical details: race kits will only be available for pick up on the day of the event; kits will not be shipped. Parking in and around the park is free but limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Wheelchairs, strollers, and pushchairs are permitted on course, and terrain may vary (hills, roads, pathways, grass, unpaved trails). Volunteers will be available for assistance and participants are asked to keep wristbands visible as proof of participation. Air blowers will be available for cleanup after the event.
