MK24 Midsummer RunFest
MK24 Midsummer RunFest takes place from Saturday 19 to Sunday 20 June 2027 near Caldecotte Lake at the Action4Youth Caldecotte Xperience in Milton Keynes. The event runs continuously for 24 hours and invites participants to complete as many laps of the course as they wish.
Each lap is approximately 6.55 mile (about a quarter marathon). Four consecutive laps count once towards 100 Marathon Club totals during the event. The format allows individuals or teams of two to six people to record lap totals over the 24 hour period.
Juniors aged 12 to 18 may participate under UKA rules. Juniors under 15 are restricted to half laps of approximately 5 km; completing two half laps makes them eligible for the event medal and other finisher items. Young people must be supervised while on site.
On-site facilities include individual shower and toilet cubicles, large marquees, games and event village activities between laps. Camping options are available with campsite pitches, a limited number of small campervans (no EHU or generators) and tee-pee tents for hire that sleep up to six. Snacks, water and hot drinks are provided free; hot meals are available from on-site vendors including a pizza van and a charity BBQ.
Standard entry fees are £51 for affiliated Redway Runners, £53 for non affiliated Redway Runners, £58 for non members with affiliation, £60 for non members without affiliation and £15 for juniors. The event is held under UKA rules and licensed by the Trail Running Association, The Parks Trust and Willen Lake. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
