MK24 Midsummer RunFest 19 to 20 June 2027
MK24 Midsummer RunFest is a 24 hour running event held near Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes. Participants complete as many laps of an approximately 6.55 mile route as they wish during the 24 hour period. The event accepts individual entrants and teams of 2 to 6 people. Juniors aged 12 to 18 may take part under UKA rules; juniors under 15 are restricted to half laps of about 5 km and can still qualify for the event medal and apparel by completing two half laps.
On-site facilities include individual showers and toilets, large marquees, tee-pee tents for hire, campsite pitches and a limited number of campervan spaces. Snacks, water and hot drinks are provided free; hot and cold food is also available for purchase from catering vendors. A selection of awards is presented after the event, including prizes for most laps and fastest lap by gender, team prizes and other recognitions. Every entrant receives a 2027 medal, an embroidered hand towel, a cool unisex tee-shirt or vest and distance pin badges for key milestones.
The event is held under UKA rules and is licensed by The Trail Running Association, The Parks Trust and Willen Lake. Entry categories include Redway Runners and non-members, with separate fees for England Athletics affiliation and a reduced junior entry.
