MK24 Midsummer RunFest

MK24 Midsummer RunFest is a 24 hour running event held on or close to Midsummer Day in June. The 2027 edition takes place over Saturday 19 June to Sunday 20 June at Action4Youth Caldecotte Xperience, 366 Simpson Road, Milton Keynes MK6 3AG. Participants complete as many laps of an approximately 6.55 mile circuit as they wish within the 24 hour period.

The event accepts individuals and teams of 2 to 6 people. Juniors aged 12 to 18 may participate under UKA rules; those under 15 are offered half laps of about 5 km. Two laps equal a half marathon and four laps equal a full marathon; completing five laps or more is treated as an ultra under the event rules.

On-site facilities include individual showers and toilets, large marquees, tee-pee tents available to hire, campsite pitches and limited small campervan spaces. Snacks, water and hot drinks are provided free; hot meals and food from a pizza van and charity BBQ are available to purchase. The event offers a medal, an embroidered hand towel, an MK24 tee-shirt or vest and collectible distance pin badges for milestone distances. Prizes are awarded for achievements such as most laps and fastest lap in male and female categories, and team prizes are also presented.

The event is held under UKA rules and licensed by The Trail Running Association and The Parks Trust. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
