Miwok 100K
The Miwok 100K presented by The North Face is a 100 kilometer trail ultramarathon held in the Marin Headlands with start and finish in Stinson Beach near Mount Tamalpais. The course covers about 62 miles and more than 11,000 feet of elevation gain. Terrain includes single-track trails, dirt roads, and about one mile of paved road, with scenery that ranges from redwoods and ridge lines to coastal cliffs.
Course marking is described as excellent. Aid stations are supported by volunteers and staffed with professional medical personnel. Runners registered for 2027 will receive a custom Miwok 100K finisher's medal and a Miwok 100K sweatshirt.
There are three participation options: a solo 100K entry with a waitlist policy when the race is full and a partial refund for registered runners who drop prior to February 1 (a $124 refund equal to 40%), a 100K entry bundled with a 16 week training plan delivered by the event coach beginning January 11, 2027 with training updates every four weeks and options for novice and intermediate ultrarunners, and a 4 person team relay that covers the same course in four legs of approximately 26, 9.5, 14 and 13 miles. Revenue from the training plan supports the event's community partners including Running For A Better Oakland and Ultra Fitness Beyond Imagination.
