Miller Woods 10K & 5K
The event at 5580 NW Orchard View Rd, McMinnville, Oregon, offers trail running and walking on wooded trails and open meadows. Distances available:
- 10K trail run through wooded trails and open meadows.
- 5K run or walk on similar natural terrain.
Presented in collaboration with the Yamhill Soil and Water Conservation District, the event raises funds for Yamhill County CASA to support trained volunteer advocates for children in foster care. Registration fees are listed for each distance and support the beneficiary.
A supervised Kids Outdoor Camp is available for children ages 5–12 whose parent or guardian is participating. The camp operates near the Miller Woods house and barn, is led by Outdoor Education Adventures, is limited to 20 children per race, can be added at registration at no additional cost, and requires a signed waiver on race day.
Both races are chip timed by Huber Timing, with official results posted after each race. Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female in each age group: 19 and under, 20–34, 35–49, and 50 plus.
Parking at Miller Woods is extremely limited. A $5 parking pass is required per vehicle, must be purchased in advance, and only 60 passes are available for each event. Parking pass proceeds go to Miller Woods. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
