Midstate Massive Ultra Trail

The Midstate Massive Ultra Trail is an endurance event that follows the Appalachian Midstate Trail across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The course traverses various terrains including mountains, fields, roads, and rivers throughout central Massachusetts. Participants pass through geographical borders in New Hampshire and Rhode Island during the peak of the New England autumn season.

The event offers three distinct distance options for participants:

  • 100 Miles
  • 50 Miles
  • 30 Miles (50-Kilometer)

The routes are designed to provide a traverse of the region, emphasizing adventure and discovery in a natural setting. The 100-mile course begins in New Ipswich, New Hampshire, and traces the path of the Midstate Trail as it winds south. The event is inspired by self-supported fastest known time records established on these same trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
