Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend
The Mid Sussex Marathon Weekend is a three day event across East Grinstead, Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill in West Sussex, held over the 2027 Bank Holiday weekend. The three town races together form the full Mid Sussex Marathon when combined.
Distances and race types:
- 10 Mile (East Grinstead)
- 10 Mile (Haywards Heath)
- 10k (Burgess Hill)
- Mile (chip timed, aged 7 years and over)
- Fun Run (family friendly; fancy dress welcome)
- Full Marathon (combined distance across three days)
- Triple Mile and Triple Fun Run combo options
Routes are described as multi terrain and undulating. Detailed route maps including GPX files are available for download. A virtual marathon option allows completion on a participant’s preferred route between 17 April 2027 and 3 May 2027, with evidence of results required for verification.
Included items listed for entrants include bespoke medals, medals for the Mile and Fun Run, trophies and prizes, and a T-shirt for the Marathon. On-the-day entry fees are published for certain events and include examples such as Marathon £80 (available OTD at East Grinstead), 10 Mile £35, 10k £30, Mile £9 and Fun Run £6.
