Marathon Mont-Mégantic
The sixth edition of the Marathon Mont-Mégantic takes place on 13 June 2027 with activities across two sites: Saturday at Camping Rivière étoilée and Sunday at Parc National du Mont-Mégantic, secteur Franceville, Hampden. The event is a trail running competition held inside a national park and is presented as open to athletes at different levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Distances offered include:
- 2 x 21.1 km relay marathon
- 42 km Marathon Mont-Mégantic
- La course des étoiles (children's race)
- 7 km Pain de sucre
- 16 km Classique Franceville
The marathon course reports 1909 meters of total elevation gain. Route descriptions mention a mix of rolling sections and technical sections and several viewpoints within the park. The marathon can be completed solo or as a two-person relay. The organizer indicates a family atmosphere and the presence of multiple viewing points along the trails.
