Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon
The Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon is a 13 mile offroad trail running event on the Malvern Hills, scheduled for Saturday 24 April 2027. The course runs from the grounds of the Elim Arts Centre and Sugarloaf Café, then onto the hills and ridge, passing through woodlands, fields and rolling terrain toward Wynd's Point before following the ridge north to the finish.
The route is varied and hilly with no cut off time. The whole course will be arrow marked and GPX files and maps are provided. There are three well stocked aid stations on the 13 mile route, a feed and water station at the halfway point, feed and water stations with toilets approximately every three miles, and staffed checkpoints at mile three, six and nine.
Race headquarters are at the Regents Theological College near the Sugarloaf Café, where a cafe will serve tea, cake, coffee and other refreshments. Parking is available but limited around the race HQ because of nearby residential areas and the nature of the site.
Entry for 2027 is priced at £35 plus VAT. The fee includes race entry, free race photos, a donation to the Malvern Hills Trust, race timing, a signposted route, prizes and medals, feed stations and water stops, staffed checkpoints, event parking and physio support. A post race massage is offered for £10 for 10 minutes. Places are limited and on the day entries are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
