Magalies Rocks the Cradle

Magalies Rocks the Cradle is a gravel, mountain bike and trail run event held on Saturday 5 September 2026 at Die Krip Guest Farm, Magaliesburg. The event is part of the 2026 Stellantis Adventure Series and the Luxliner Schools Series, and it forms part of the Die Krip Landboufees.

Cycling routes are predominantly gravel with a small amount of tar. A gravel bike is described as ideal but a mountain bike is equally suitable. The ride routes use farm roads and open country roads with varied terrain. The trail run and walk follow private farm roads, jeep tracks and quiet district roads with non technical surfaces.

Available route options:

• Gravel and MTB: 100 km, 80 km, 40 km, 25 km
• Trail run and walk: 17 km, 11 km, 6 km

GPX route files are available for download including 70 km and 45 km files. The event includes full medical support, well stocked water tables, an event medal and series medal for Stellantis riders, complimentary entry to the Landboufees for participants, shower facilities, downloadable photos and lucky draw prizes. A free event T shirt is offered to participants who enter and pay before Sunday 23 August. The Landboufees provides agricultural exhibitors, live music, tractor demonstrations, food stalls and craft beer for attendees to enjoy after the ride or run.
