MacTuffX Sheffield

MacTuffX Sheffield at Herringthorpe Stadium on 26 July 2026 is a functional fitness racing event for adults aged 18 and over. The format combines running laps with a set of ten organised strength and conditioning movements called Xercises. Two distance formats are offered:

  • 10 x 400m run Classic
  • 10 x 800m run Double Distance

Entries are available in several competition formats with published entry fees: Solo X £70, Solo 2X £85; Doubles X £125 per team, Doubles 2X £145 per team; Relay X £150 per team, Relay XX £170 per team. All entrants must be aged 18 or over on the day.

The event programme lists ten Xercises with specified reps, implements, or distances. Examples include Alternating Snatch (80 reps), Walking Lunge (100 m and a 200 m variant), Devil Press (30 reps), Overhead Carry (200 m), Kettlebell Deadlift (80 reps), Burpee Broad Jump (100 m), Slamball GTOH (50 reps), Zercher Carry (250 m), and Slamball Situp (80 reps). Weight implements and prescribed weights are specified for men, ladies, and a LITE division with lower weights for those who select it.

Participants can enter alone, as a doubles pair, or in a relay team where duties are shared so each person completes a portion of the runs and Xercises. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
