Lynette Tenaglia Memorial Run
The memorial run takes place June 10-13, 2027 at McCourtie Park in Somerset Township, Michigan. The event spans four days on park grounds and offers multiple race distances for both runners and walkers. The course is a park loop with mixed surfaces and the event headquarters is at McCourtie Park.
The weekend honors a woman who lived many years after a difficult medical prognosis, endured dozens of surgeries, and focused on helping others. The event supports a foundation devoted to research, support, and solutions for cognitive and neurological disorders; 100 percent of proceeds go to that foundation.
Every finisher receives a keepsake medal. The schedule unfolds across four days with community-focused activities and endurance events, including dedicated days for longer distances and a community day on the course. Parking is at McCourtie Park and nearby lodging is available in Leonard and Somerset Township.
Distances and entry fees listed by the organizer:
- 5K $100 open to runners and walkers
- Half Marathon $115 open to runners and walkers
- Marathon $125 open to runners and walkers
- 50K $150 endurance distance run or walk
- 50 Mile $175 endurance distance run or walk
- 100 Mile $200 longest distance of the weekend run or walk
