Huron 100 : June 12, 2027
The Huron 100 is a point to point endurance event near Grass Lake, MI that includes a 100 mile race and a 50 mile race (Waterloo-Pinckney 50). Both courses travel across the Huron River Watershed and pass through multiple public parks and recreation areas.
The 100 mile course covers about 80% trail with roughly 8,000 feet of elevation gain. It crosses six State Recreation Areas, two Metroparks, and one County Park. There are 15 aid stations on course, eight of which allow crew access, and a 32 hour cutoff for finishers.
The Waterloo-Pinckney 50 mile course is about 83% trail with roughly 4,300 feet of elevation gain. The 50 mile event features eight aid stations with three crew access locations and a 15 hour cutoff.
Event logistics include a start at Portage Lake boat launch parking at Waterloo State Recreation Area and finishes at Proud Lake Recreation Area and Country Lake Elementary School in the Pinckney area. Shuttle service is provided from the finish locations. Packet pick up occurs the day before the race at Proud Lake Recreation Area River Hawk Annex.
Entry fees vary by registration period. Early bird, regular, and late pricing are listed for both distances with corresponding Ultrasignup fee totals. The refund and transfer policy specifies partial refunds or transfers to the 2028 race only, with no refunds after May 15 and no transfers after June 1.
