Lost Trail Half Marathon

Event Overview
The Lost Trail event takes place at Granite Beach within the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The course features views of the lake and local wildflowers. Participants can choose between two trail distances:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 3.1 miles (5K Run/Walk)
Course Details
The trails are marked and supported by five aid stations located at miles 2.2, 4.2, 6.2, 10, and 11.5. Runners are permitted to use listening devices such as headphones or MP3 players during the race, provided they remain aware of their surroundings on the trails and road crossings. Registration and packet pickup are available on-site at the race venue on the morning of the event.
Awards and Recognition
All finishers receive a specific event medal. Awards are presented to the first place overall male and female finishers in both the Half Marathon and the 5K. Additionally, age group awards are provided three-deep for ten-year age categories. For the 5K event, specific age groups are available for athletes aged 14 and under, as well as those aged 15-19.
Custom soft-cotton race shirts are offered for pre-order. The event operates under a rain or shine policy. While refunds are not provided, race credits or transfers to other events by the organizer may be available according to specific processing fees and timelines.
