Lori’s Voice 5K: Pathways to Possibilities
This is a family-friendly, professionally timed 5K trail race co-hosted by Lori’s Voice and the City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department. The event starts at the Kentwood Community Center and leads participants along sections of the city’s neighborhoods and trail system.
The route is suitable for people who walk, roll, or run, and the event welcomes participants of different ages and abilities. Timing is provided to record performance for those who want it.
All proceeds provide financial assistance to families of children under 21 who live with neuromuscular and degenerative diseases. Funds help cover costs such as adaptive equipment, travel for medical care, therapies, and other essential needs that are not fully covered by insurance, supporting access to services and equipment for those families.
