Longridge Daylight 10k Trail Run

This is a charity 10 km trail run organised by Longridge and North Preston Rotary Club in the Ribble Valley. Proceeds support Chipping Football Club's new 3G football pitch. The event base is at Ribble View Stud on Alston Lane in Preston, an elevated position overlooking the River Ribble.

The route follows bridal paths, footpaths along the banks of the River Ribble and open farmland. Organisers use the same route as their Lamplight 10k, with better views. A GPX file of the course is available for download.

On-site facilities include a gin distillery bar at the start and finish line offering drinks for participants and guests. Each participant receives a free meal and a snood at the end of the run. The minimum age for runners is 18 years. Entry is handled through SiEntries and the published entry fee is £20. Entries open 30 July 2026 and close 9 October 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
