Lone Wolf Manchester 2027

Lone Wolf Manchester 2027 is a 24 hour endurance running challenge held at Heaton Park, Manchester on Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 February 2027. The event uses a single loop of 6.7 km that participants must complete once every hour. Each lap must be completed within 60 minutes to qualify for the next hourly start.

Runners choose how many laps to attempt and may stop at any time. The last runners remaining compete for the Lone Wolf Championship, with one male and one female champion recognised. All participants receive a wooden finisher medal and champions receive a handmade wooden trophy.

Event facilities include a café, an indoor room for changing and overnight rest, toilets, water points, a first aid station, kettle, small fridge and microwave, and space to rest between laps. On-site parking is available for a fee. Registration and race number collection take place on the morning of the event, with a pre-race briefing for participants. All entrants must be aged 18 or over.

Heaton Park is accessible by public transport and car. Travel options mentioned by the organiser include the Metrolink Bury Line to Heaton Park tram stop and bus 135 from Manchester city centre. Participants are advised to bring running kit, spare clothing, food and drink, a headtorch and any overnight equipment needed for cold February conditions.
