Cross Country Challenge at Griffith University

The Logan Fun Run is a cross country event held at Griffith University Logan and Riverdale Park in Meadowbrook. The event features multiple course options designed for both runners and walkers, utilizing the scenic areas of the campus and its surrounding parklands.

Participants encounter a variety of terrain throughout the courses, including dirt, grass, gravel, and asphalt surfaces. The routes are characterized by technical elements such as sharp turns, short steep hills, and long cantered sections that vary the running rhythm.

Available distances include:

  • 10 km run
  • 5 km run
  • 2 km Colour Fun Run

The event includes a Schools Challenge where school communities can participate to build spirit and compete for prizes. The event precinct features a warm-up area, race merchandise for purchase, and finisher medals for participants. The course is situated on the traditional lands of the Yuggera, Turrbal, Yugarabul, Jagera, and Yugambeh peoples.

The event partners with Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland as an official charity partner. Facilities at the race precinct include bag drop services and post-race presentations for the various distance categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
