Fife Running Festival - Lochore Meadows

Fife Running Festival at Lochore Meadows takes place on 11 October 2026 in Crosshill, Lochgelly KY5 8BA, UK. The event offers measured, chip timed courses and awards a finishers medal to participants.

Distances include:

  • 5k
  • 10k

Entries are taken through the event booking partner Let's Do This and race information is emailed to participants in the lead up to the event. Race bibs and timing chips are issued at the registration desk on event day and the timing chip is attached to the race number bib.

On course provisions include hydration stations, kilometre markers, course marshals, music and an instructor led warm up. Finishers receive a medal and goody bags with sports nutrition snacks and offers for runners. Race day photos are made available after the event.

Age and participation guidelines follow Scottish Athletics advice: 5k runners should be 11 or older and 10k runners should be older than 15. Children remain the responsibility of their parent or guardian; a guardian must remain onsite if a child runs unaccompanied. Dogs are not permitted. Standard headphones are not allowed but bone conduction headphones are accepted. Cut off times are typically 1.5 hours for 5k and 10k races; half marathons have a different cutoff. The event has an entry change and refund policy based on time before the event, and on the day entries are generally available unless sold out.
