Live Love Run 21K, 10K, 5K & 1K : Brae Island Regional Park, Langley Township
This event on October 3, 2026 is hosted by Run Like A Girl Adventures Inc. to raise funds for Abreast In A Boat. The race base is Brae Island Regional Park and the routes follow the Fort-to-Fort Trail alongside the Fraser River. Trails are wide, hard-packed dirt and gravel and include sections through forest and fields.
Distances offered:
- 21K : out-and-back route plus the Brae Island loop
- 10K : out-and-back on the Fort-to-Fort Trail
- 5K : out-and-back on mainly flat trail sections
- 1K : fun run on a wide flat path on Brae Island
Race services and policies are described as follows. All participants receive a finisher medal. Registration includes a CA$5 donation to Abreast In A Boat, an event bib, finish-line food, aid stations, course markings, and timing via a timing app (not chip timing). Strollers are allowed on course. Aid stations are placed on each distance route at planned intervals and are stocked with water, snacks, and medical support.
There is a participant limit of 300 for 2026. Local package pickup happens at the start area on event morning. Virtual entries are available; virtual packages are mailed so participants can run remotely and still receive a bib and medal. The event is cupless and lists several environmental measures including reusable course markings and encouragement of carpooling. Parking is not available at Brae Island; participants are asked to park in Fort Langley and walk across the bridge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
