Lincoln Marabank 2027 Sunday
The Lincoln Marabank takes place on Sunday 28 February 2027 at Woodcocks, Burton Waters, Lincoln. The event is a seven hour timed event run along a flat, traffic-free canal towpath beside the Fossdyke.
Runners may use the allotted time to try a new distance, to train for a longer race, or to complete a half marathon, marathon or ultra marathon. The course is measured and medals are awarded to everyone who completes at least one lap.
Marathon entrants can choose to run an approved marathon distance that is probably just over the standard marathon length. There is a possibility of an early start for marathon runners, which can give potentially eight hours to complete the distance. The event is run under an ARC permit and is insured and stated to exceed ARC minimum standards. A well stocked aid station will be available on course.
Entry is limited to 50 runners. Minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 20/02/2027. Entry fees are listed as Affiliated £30.00 and Unaffiliated £32.00. The organiser states no refunds or deferrals as standard, but entries can be transferred to another runner with at least seven days notice, and exceptionally poor weather may allow deferral to the next year.
