Lincoln Marabank 2027 Sunday
The Lincoln Marabank is scheduled for Sunday 28 February 2027 at Burton Waters near Lincoln. The event returns to Burton Waters for a third year and is organised by Vigilantes Maravan CIC.
This is a seven hour timed event on a flat, multi‑terrain course that follows a canal towpath alongside the Roman-built Fossdyke. The course is measured and the organisers award a medal to everyone who completes at least one lap. The event runs under an ARC permit and is insured to exceed the ARC minimum standards. A well-stocked aid station will be provided on course.
Runners can choose from several distance options including:
- Half marathon
- Marathon (option to run an approved marathon distance, possibly just over)
- Ultra marathon
Marathon runners may be offered an early start that can provide up to eight hours to complete the distance. Entrant numbers are limited to 50 and the minimum age for entry is 18 years. Entries close on 20 February 2027. Entry fees listed for the event are £30 for affiliated runners and £32 for unaffiliated runners. The organiser’s terms state that entries are non-refundable, with transfers allowed up to seven days before the event and deferral only in cases of exceptionally poor weather.
