LIC Wellness Fest: Hurricane Fit Race

LIC Wellness Fest presents an obstacle race held on 44th Drive between Jackson Avenue and Thomson Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. The course closes that single city block for a mystery layout that includes 20 obstacles.

On-site services include live online, email, and text results, free finish line photos and same-day video, fitness demonstrations, wellness activations, live workouts and classes, nutritional workshops, massage and recovery zones, and free samples and giveaways. The event is described as offering activities for a range of ages and community engagement.

Awarding information lists a top prize of $500 to the first overall male and female, and awards for the top three male and female overall. Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and can be found via Self Lookup or Bib Lookup. Participants who register within 24 hours of the event are reported to receive a bib number by text within 90 seconds. Personalized bibs are available for registrations completed three weeks in advance.
