The LBL Bridge to Bridge Trail Run follows a point to point route through the Land Between the Lakes Recreation Area. The course begins at the Lake Barkley Bridge, follows a paved path along Highway 80, connects with the Central Hardwoods Scenic Trail for a long woodland section, and finishes just west of Kentucky Lake along Highway 80 after crossing the Kentucky Lake bridge.
Race formats and distances:
- 13.6 mile single runner course
- Two person relay with an exchange at Golden Pond Visitor Center, first leg about 7.4 miles, second leg about 6.2 miles
- Three person relay with segments of about 3.6 miles, 3.8 miles, and 6.2 miles
The single runner course includes paved sections and an extended packed gravel woodland trail with moderate elevation changes.
