Lavenham 10K Race
The Lavenham 10K Race is a 10 km trail event held on Sunday 31st January 2027 in Lavenham. The route follows an old disused railway and uses a mix of footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams and quiet rural roads. Winter conditions may make some sections muddy and wet.
The event is manually timed. The course is fully marked and marshalled, and first aid is available. The race operates as a cupless event; fresh drinking water is provided for refilling personal bottles but no disposable cups are supplied. An optional eco-friendly finisher medal is available and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
Age and entry conditions include a minimum age of 16 years and a 90 minute cut-off time. Race numbers are not posted in advance and must be collected at the race start; collection is scheduled on the morning of the event. A £2 fee applies to non-attached club runners to comply with UK Athletics rules.
Event conditions note that participants enter at their own risk and must ensure they are medically fit to take part. Appropriate grippy footwear is recommended for the varied terrain.
