Lavenham 10K Race
The Lavenham 10K is a trail race held in the medieval village of Lavenham on Sunday 31st January 2027. The route follows an old disused railway line and uses a mix of footpaths, forest trails, shallow streams and quiet rural roads. The course may be splashy and muddy in winter, and participants are advised to use appropriate grippy footwear.
The event is manually timed, fully marked and marshalled, and first aid and on-course medical assistance will be available. The race operates a cupless policy; fresh drinking water is provided for refilling personal bottles. Finishers receive a medal and podium trophies are awarded to the top three male and top three female finishers. An optional eco-friendly finisher medal is offered.
Minimum age for entry is 16 years and a 90 minute cut-off time applies. A £2 fee applies to runners who are not attached to a club to meet UK Athletics rules. The race has permit number 6988.
