About the race
Anster Haddies will reinstate the Largo Law Hill race on 14 Nov 2026. The event is an out and back hill race with a route of approximately 10k and over 300 m of elevation. It is held under a Scottish Athletics permit and follows UK Athletics rules.
Registration numbers will be available to collect on the day at the Crusoe Hotel in Lower Largo. On-the-day entry may be possible subject to remaining places. There are 100 total places for the event.
Toilets are available in the Crusoe Hotel but there are no changing facilities on site. There is no parking at the Crusoe Hotel; parking is provided at the Old Station Car Park, Station Park, Lower Largo KY8 6DT, and at Lower Largo Car Park, Main St, KY8 6BT. The race start is around half a mile from registration; runners follow Harbour Wynd and cross the A915 to reach the start line.
Appropriate footwear and clothing should be selected for conditions on the day; trail shoes or similar are recommended. Headphones are not permitted during the race. In the interest of sustainability there will be no finishers medals. Prize awards are provided for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male overall and 1st, 2nd and 3rd female overall.
