La Remonte-Pente - Trail running event (October 3, 2026)

La Remonte-Pente takes place at Ski Saint-Bruno in autumn and offers a non-competitive trail running experience with access to the Festival of Colours on site. The event is organized without rankings or podiums and focuses on running in the forest near Montreal, about 25 km away.

Five routes are available for different ages and experience levels. Official timing is offered for the longer routes for those who want it, while the shortest discovery categories are not timed.

  • Mini-Loop : 500 m, elevation gain 13 m; no official timing
  • La Loop : 1 km, elevation gain 30 m; no official timing
  • La Bouclette : 2.5 km, elevation gain 94 m
  • La Zig-Zag : 5 km, elevation gain 192 m
  • La Grande Boucle : 10 km, elevation gain 161 m; part of the route crosses parc de la Sépaq du Mont-Saint-Bruno

Exact start wave times for the longer routes will be sent a few days before the event. The courses range from very easy terrain to slightly more technical forest sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
