Kokopelli XC Invitational
The Kokopelli XC Invitational is a cross-country meet on October 17, 2026 at North Monument Valley Park, 205 Fontanero Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. The event is organized for runners of all ages who want a cross-country course to test themselves.
Registration for youth entries has a stated deadline of October 15, 2026. One source lists a youth entry amount of $25 per entry not including service charges and notes entries are non-refundable; an entry amount of $28.74 also appears in the event listing.
Packet pickup opens one hour before the first event at the southwest corner of the main field near the stone wall. Team coaches may pick up team packets; if a coach is not attending, one team representative may collect the team packet. Unattached runners collect individual race numbers. Race numbers should be worn on the front of the uniform. Lost numbers can be replaced for a nominal fee.
Age group distances include:
- 8 and under girls and boys: 2 km
- 9 and 10 girls and boys: 3 km
- 11 and 12 girls and boys: 3 km
- 13 and 14 girls and boys: 4 km
Course maps are provided for 1K and 2K loops. Youth awards are given 1st through 10th in each age group for boys and girls. Hal Sports will provide professional timing and results are posted after each event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
