Knaresborough Winter Wander
Knaresborough Winter Wander is a trail running festival in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire. The event uses a 6.5-mile trail loop; runners complete a set number of laps according to their chosen distance. The course climbs gently through parkland and follows the old railway track between Knaresborough and Harrogate.
The event does not start, finish, or register at Mother Shiptons Cave. The listed start location is the start of the Beryl Burton Cycleway in the park. Parking is a public pay-and-display car park about a two-minute walk from registration. Public toilets are located in the nearby car park.

Feed stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles offering water, snacks, and fuel. The course is fully marshalled and clearly signed. All finishers receive a bespoke finisher medal and post-race treats. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association.
Additional notes for runners include a cup-less policy to reduce waste, restrictions on large over-ear headphones with permitted alternatives, advice to notify a marshal if retiring from the race, and that transfers and deferrals can be managed online.
