Kilnsey Crag Race
Kilnsey Crag is a fell race held as part of the Kilnsey Show in the Yorkshire Dales, England. The main course covers 2 km with a climb of 124 m. Entry for the main fell race is by pre-entry only through the BOFRA website and the pre-entry fee is £10. Entry on the day is not available for the main race. Teams are not permitted. Minimum age for the main race is 17 with ages determined on 1 May. The event does not hold a permit or insurance from the FRA.
Junior races are included. Categories and distances:
- 1 km for U12s (aged 9 or over)
- 2 km for combined U14 and U17 categories
Junior races are free and ages for junior events are taken on race day. There is also a separate handicap mile race at the show for pre-entered runners and those who arrive on the day and find the main race full.
