Kevin Hutt 10K

The Kevin Hutt 10K takes place on November 1, 2026 in Bloomfield, CT. The race uses a rolling loop course through Penwood State Park and follows mostly technical single track on the Metacomet Trail plus the park's Orange and Yellow trails. The terrain is rocky but runnable and the event enforces a three hour cutoff.

There are no aid stations on course, so runners must carry enough hydration for the full 6.2 miles. Snacks will be available at the finish. Proceeds from the event will go in part to NAMI, the National Association of Mental Illness.

The race is organized by the CT Trailmixers, a volunteer trail running club based in central Connecticut. Registration information in the source lists an entry price of USD 28.50, registration opening on July 1, 2026 and closing on October 25, 2026. If the race reaches capacity a waitlist will begin; waitlisted runners are selected in the order they registered and have two days to accept an offered spot.

The organizer's refund and transfer policy notes a 50 percent refund for cancellations made before September 20, no refunds after that date, and no bib transfers or deferrals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
