BallHooter Trail is a 3.2 mile loop with roughly 246 feet of elevation gain and a mix of runnable and technical terrain. An aid station is located at the BallHooter/Leatherbritches changeover and provides water and electrolyte drink.

Adaptive divisions are offered, including Competitive Adaptive Divisions for visually impaired and ambulatory adaptive athletes, plus a Participation Adaptive Division for athletes using mobility devices or requiring a guide. Participants requiring accommodations are asked to contact the Race Director at least 30 days before the event when possible.

Pacers are allowed for the 100 Mile and 100K under specified rules and must check in and wear a pacer bib; pacers are not eligible for awards. Finishers receive a medal and overall male and female awards apply for each distance; custom belt buckles are awarded to finishers of the 100 Mile, 100K, 50 Mile, and 50K.

Packet pickup and a pre-race pasta meal are planned at Massey Hill Shelter; RSVP is required. Camping is permitted in parking and grassy areas with no hookups. Spectators and well behaved pets are welcome at the main aid station. If a participant withdraws, they should notify a race official.
