Howick Trail Run
The Howick Trail Run is a loop-format trail event based at La Petite France, just outside Howick in the Midlands. The routes pass through the Preston dairy farm and the Westphalia avocado farm and offer views across Albert Falls Dam and the uMngeni Valley.
Terrain includes flowing singletrack, rolling grasslands and open countryside. Wildlife such as resident blue wildebeest may be seen along the course. Courses are subject to change and there are no compulsory kit requirements listed.

- Long: 18.9 km, 590 m elevation, 3 aid stations
- Medium: 10 km, 287 m elevation, 2 aid stations
- Short: 5 km, 142 m elevation, 1 aid station
