The Midlands Adventure
The Midlands Adventure, presented by Stellantis South Africa, is a multi-day gravel, mountain bike and trail running weekend at Waterwoods Equestrian Estate in Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal (6–8 November 2026). The event combines organised rides and runs with a weekend event village, communal meals and additional activities aimed at participants and accompanying family members.
The weekend program includes a Friday welcome braai and route presentation, Saturday and Sunday riding and running, a Saturday potjie dinner, morning yoga and pilates sessions, and a guided Sunday riverside walk. The event lists professional route marking and timing for racing categories, fully stocked water points, on-course medical support and weekend entertainment. Prize money exceeds R30,000. Accommodation options in the area include hotels, guest houses, self-catering cottages, country lodges and boutique stays.
Every entry includes an event T-shirt, a finisher's medal, route marking, water points and medical support. Entries are organised for two-day and single-day options across gravel, MTB and trail running disciplines. The event notes a typical age range of 12 and up.

- Gravel and MTB two-day shorter option: 50 km Day 1 and 45 km Day 2 (95 km total)
- Sunday Gravel/MTB options: 45 km, 20 km, 10 km
- Trail running options: 15 km (no walkers), 10 km, 5 km
