Hot August Night Trail Race
The event on August 21, 2027 takes place at Holder Mine Campground, 4399 Trail 10, Inverness, FL in the Citrus Tract of the Withlacoochee Forest. It is a night trail race held on single track forest trails.

- 10 mile loop
- 20 mile race consisting of two 10 mile loops
The course is entirely on single track trails with packed sand or pine needle surfaces and some gentle ups and downs. The route will be marked with reflective pins and glow sticks. Headlamps or flashlights are required. Participants are encouraged to wear bright clothing and may use creative illuminated outfits.
Timing uses a mat that runners cross at the completion of each loop. Aid station arrangements differ by distance: the 5 mile loop has an on course hydration station at about 2.4 miles plus an aid station at the finish and a post race picnic; the 10 mile loop has an on course hydration station and a staffed aid station, another aid station at the finish, and a post race picnic; the 20 mile option is two 10 mile loops with the same aid station structure.
