Holy Trail Ultras : 15 May 2027
Holy Trail Ultras takes place on 15 May 2027 around Oulton Broad and the Suffolk coast. The event offers three trail distances with starts and finishes linked to Nicholas Everitt Park, Holton, and Walberswick.

- Trail Marathon
Routes run across marshes, coastal paths and established long-distance walks. The 50 Mile Ultra follows The Angles Way, Carlton Marshes, the East Suffolk Lines Walk, Blythburgh Marshes, the Sandlings Walk and the Suffolk Coast Path, finishing at Nicholas Everitt Park. The 50 km route crosses the river Blyth to Southwold and follows the Suffolk Coast Path via Pakefield and the Via Beata to Oulton Broad. The Trail Marathon starts at Walberswick Village Hall, loops around Walberswick and follows the coastal path and Sandlings Walk to the same finish park.
Checkpoints and waterpoints are located at places such as Beccles Quay, Holton Village Hall, The White Hart in Blythburgh, Walberswick Village Hall and Covehithe; the Sailor's Home in Kessingland is also a checkpoint. Crew and supporters are welcome at checkpoints but are asked to park considerately. Registration takes place at the listed village halls and pavilion; several race registration points are within walking distance of local train stations.
