2027 Holy Trail Ultras

The Holy Trail Ultras in Suffolk offers three trail races that start at different coastal and marshland locations and finish at Nicholas Everitt Park, Oulton Broad.

Course highlights include the Angles Way, Carlton Marshes, Blythburgh Marshes, the Sandlings Walk, the Suffolk Coast Path and the Via Beata. Routes pass through or by Beccles Quay, Holton, Blythburgh, Walberswick, Dunwich, Southwold, Pakefield and East Point Marina. The 50 Mile Ultra is a loop from Nicholas Everitt Park along trails, footpaths and coast. The 50 km Ultra starts in Holton and follows marshes and coastal paths toward Lowestoft before finishing at Nicholas Everitt Park. The Trail Marathon starts in Walberswick, includes a village loop and then follows the coastal path to the finish.

Checkpoints and waterpoints are located at Beccles Quay, Holton Village Hall, The White Hart Pub Blythburgh, Walberswick Village Hall, Covehithe (waterpoint only) and the Sailor's Home Pub Kessingland. Crew and supporters are welcome at checkpoints but should park considerately. Registration and race headquarters are at The Pavilion Nicholas Everitt Park, Holton Village Hall and Walberswick Village Hall. Time limits are 15 hours for the 50 mile event, 10 hours for the 50 km event and 8 hours for the Trail Marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
