About the race
The HMP Kirklevington 5k Trail run is a licensed trail event at HMP Kirklevington Grange on 3 September 2026. The course is a 5 km trail and the event doubles as the Summer Series presentation night when series winners and the winning club will be announced, including junior awards. The Summer Series male and female overall winners each receive £100 worth of vouchers.
Vet prizes will be awarded and junior series 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive cash prizes. Per-race prizes for each race are awarded to male and female finishers in the top three: 1st £20, 2nd £15 and 3rd £10. Junior cash prizes apply to ages 12 to 17. Minimum age to take part is strictly 12 years and over. Facilities on the night include free parking, toilets and a cafe.
Cake is available at the end of the run. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs and no dogs are allowed. Refunds are transferable only; places may be transferred to other entrants but cannot be deferred to future events. The event is organised under the rules and regulations of England Athletics and is licenced by the Trail Running Association where indicated.
