Highlander Heavy Half
The Highlander Heavy Half is a trail running event located in Cold Spring, New York. Organized by CTW Endurance, the race takes place in the Hudson Highlands during the peak foliage season. Participants navigate a course that covers a distance of 13.7 miles.
The route features significant elevation changes, totaling 4,000 feet of gain throughout the run. The event utilizes the local trail systems of the Hudson Highlands, and a portion of the proceeds from the race is donated to the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference (NYNJTC).
Registration is open to the public and can be completed online until the day before the event, with race day sign-up options also available. The event is designated as a UTMB Index Race.
Participants have a 6-hour time limit to complete the course. The staging area and parking are located on school property at 15 Craigside Drive. Access to this specific parking and trail entry point is restricted to race day only.
