High Valley Half
The High Valley Half is a point to point half marathon held on June 26, 2027, in Eastern Oregon. The course starts near Dollar's Corner in Cove and finishes at the Eastern Oregon Stockshow grounds in Union. Runners follow High Valley Road for most of the route.
Most of the course is on gravel. The route includes nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain and corresponding descents. Aid stations with water and fuel are located just after miles 4, 7, and 11. There are no restrooms along the course; restrooms are available at the finish and facilities at the starting area are limited.
This event does not provide a shuttle back to the starting line, so participants must arrange their own transportation. Any gear left at the start or along the course will be donated to local runners.
Race t-shirts are included with registration through June 5, 2027. Online registration closes the night before the race; race day registration is available without a shirt or a guaranteed medal and will carry an additional $5 fee. On race morning organizers accept cash, check, and Venmo. The event is organized by Run With Purpose Racing. The listed entry fee is USD 82.18.
