Hibernal Hills

Hibernal Hills is a season opening trail event with single-loop races that start and finish at Ditcham Park School in Hampshire. The event offers multiple distance options and takes place on runnable but undulating terrain.

The routes include sections along the Staunton Way and Monarchs Way before climbing onto the South Downs Way and returning toward the finish at QECP. The course contains some longer, steeper hills as well as more runnable sections.

Distances offered:

  • 50 miles
  • 50K
  • 20 miles

The 50 miles and 50K races form the first part of the South Downs Triple Crown, a challenge that began in 2025. That challenge consists of completing three ultra distance races within a single calendar year. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
