About the race
The Henley River event on 4 September 2027 offers a half marathon, a 10K race and a junior race around Remenham Farm, Henley-on-Thames (RG9 3DB). The course runs along the banks of the Thames and follows closed roads and mixed terrain, with a combination of tarmac and trail paths and undulating sections. The half marathon route includes one short lap plus two full laps, the 10K is one lap and the junior race is an out-and-back. Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post-race goodies and a bag drop.
An event village provides food and drink and finish-line refreshments from event partners. Water stations are provided on course and at the finish. Toilets are available in the event village and on course for the half marathon and 10K. Minimum ages are 17 for the half marathon, 15 for the 10K and under 11 for the junior race.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams due to mixed terrain and undulating ground. Practical details: free parking is available on Remenham Farm with site access via Remenham Church Lane and exit via Remenham Lane. Henley-on-Thames train station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the race headquarters. Race packs are collected from the event village on the day; entrants should bring booking confirmation and photo ID.
