HELP in Motion Trail Run
HELP in Motion runs throughout October (October 1–31) with both in-person trail races and a virtual challenge. The in-person event takes place at SnowKraft Nordic near Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, at 5736 Walker Rd. The venue offers private wooded trails totaling about 20 miles, typically used for skiing and biking.
In-person trail race options:
- 2K for first-timers, families, and beginner trail runners
- 5K for beginner to intermediate runners
- 10K on rolling hills and singletrack for more experienced trail runners
Each in-person race has a listed registration fee of $25 and registration opens on January 6, 2026 and closes on April 1, 2026.
The HELP in Motion Virtual Challenge runs during the same October period and asks participants to collectively log 99 kilometers (61 miles). Organizers plan to dedicate each kilometer to one of the 99 victims of domestic violence who lost their lives in 2024. The virtual challenge has a listed registration fee of $40 and registration opens on February 1, 2026 and closes on November 1, 2026.
