Happy Valley Trail Half Marathon & 10k 2027

The Happy Valley Trails event takes place on Sunday 9 May 2027 in Bollington with start and finish at Kickback Coffee Roastery, Clough Bank, SK10 5NZ. The event is organised by Bollington Harriers and is in its sixth year with support from Kickback Coffee.

There are two route options:

  • Half Marathon: 770 m total ascent over White Nancy, Kerridge and Sponds Hill.
  • 10 km: 390 m total ascent including White Nancy and Kerridge ridge.

The half marathon mixes farmland, rocky descents and woodland, and features two aid stations on course. The 10 km has one aid station. To manage safety on remote trails, runners who have not reached the 6 km point within one hour may be directed onto the 10 km route.

Race numbers are collected on the day and chip timing is used. Free parking is available at Adelphi Mill. All finishers receive a bespoke medal and refreshments. Prizes are awarded to first male and female finishers and across age categories.

Entry details include age eligibility 18 to 89 on race day, entry closing on 8 May 2027, and entry fees with administration charges. UK Athletics or FRA members receive a discount when membership is validated. The organiser’s refund and cancellation policies apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
