Run For Your Life 5K Halloween Costume Run - Palmdale
The Palmdale Fin and Feather Club presents an inaugural Halloween costume 5K on October 17, 2026 at Lake Palmdale. The event is open to the public and welcomes participants who walk, jog, or run the course. Costumes are encouraged. The venue address is 600 E Ave S, Palmdale, CA near Ave S and 5th St E.
The route circles Lake Palmdale and is described as all terrain and relatively flat with 42 feet of elevation gain. The course will include aid stations, a lead cyclist, course markings, and portable toilets placed every few hundred yards. Every finisher will receive a medal. Cash prizes, medals, and trophies are awarded to the top three overall finishers with first place receiving $200, second place $100, and third place $50; each of those top finishers also receives a T-shirt and a trophy. The first 20 registered participants receive a free shirt. Post-run activities include games, music, and vendor booths.
