Pacifico Ultra - May 29, 2027
Pacifico Ultra is a trail running event organized by SoCalTrail in the Angeles National Forest near Palmdale, CA. The event uses Mill Creek Summit and the Pony Park Day Use Area as the race site with off-site parking at Pearblossom Park & Ride and shuttle service to the site.
The courses run along Pacifico Mountain Road and the Silver Moccasin Trail and include technical singletrack, mountainside truck trails and paved sections. Landscapes pass through pine forests and high-desert views near Mount Gleason, Mount Hillyer and Pacifico Mountain. The races include stocked aid stations on the course, free race photography and a finish-area festival with food, massage and shaded seating.
Distances:
- 50k Ultra: 31.8 miles, 5,317 ft vert, 10-hour limit
- Half-Marathon: 13.1 miles, 2,293 ft gain
The 50k features nine aid stations with specified mile cutoffs; the half-marathon has three aid stations. The 50k is a Sterling Silver Ticket Race for the Angeles Crest 100 and awards a $500 course record bonus for men and women. Overall winners receive invitations and travel to a Mar a Mar stage race and finishers receive locally made medals. All SoCalTrail races are CUPLESS.
