Halloween Dash Bash
Halloween Dash Bash is a themed harvest race event held at Pacific Community Park in Vancouver, Washington on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The courses run mostly on grass and compact trail with some sidewalk or asphalt, creating a venue described as spectator friendly with a Halloween and fall vibe.
Race distances include:
- 2k for 8 and under
- 3k for ages 9-10 and 11-12
- 4k for ages 13-14
- 5k for high school divisions
- Open 5k for the community
Course layouts vary by distance: the 2k uses two small loops on grass and compact trail; the 3k combines a small and a big loop with some asphalt; the 4k is almost two big loops; the 5k is approximately 2.5 big loops including grass, compact trail, and some sidewalk.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes October 18, 2026. Pre-race registration is $13 for youth and high school races and $13 for preregistered community 5k; community 5k day-of registration is $25 and accepts Venmo, check, or cash. No refunds.
Medals are awarded to the top 15 finishers in each race, and the top boy and girl in each race receive a Halloween blanket. Parking is available at park east and west lots, with additional parking at nearby Pacific Middle School and Harmony Elementary. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
