Halfest Festival - Run for the Food Bank

Halfest Festival is scheduled for 25 October 2026 at Andrew Simpson Watersports Centres, Eastern Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire PO3 5LY, United Kingdom. The event is a relaxed three hour timed format that focuses on community support rather than competition.

Participants choose their own distance and pace. Runners register during the event and start individually; there are no mass starts and each run is individually timed so people can run at their own speed.

Distances available include:

  • 5K lap
  • 10K
  • Half Marathon or more

Entry requires a small fee of £7 to help cover event costs. Attendees are asked to bring a donation of non-perishable food for a local food bank; donated tins, packets and cupboard essentials will support local families as winter approaches. Every finisher receives a recycled event medal sourced from previous Believe and Achieve events.

The event description emphasises flexibility and community support, offering a choice of distance and a timed format that allows participants to arrive, register and run when they are ready. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
