About the race
Gunungronggo Trail Run 2026 is a trail running event held in Desa Gunungronggo, Kecamatan Tajinan, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur on 1 November 2026. The route visits local landmarks and varied terrain, including Sumber Jenon, Puncak Gunungronggo, Jembatan Pelor, village rice fields, and forest paths. The event highlights historical and natural features of the village while offering off-road running across climbs and forested sections.

Participant provisions include a jersey, finisher medal, race bib, goodie bag racepack, refreshment, water stations, medical support, documentation, and a limited edition 17K finisher tee. Podium prizes are awarded per category and door prizes are available. Event facilities on site comprise UMKM and culinary area, medical post, prayer room (musholla), toilets, parking, photo booth, water stations, and an official merchandise booth.
Mandatory gear varies by category and is subject to checks; missing compulsory items may incur penalties or disqualification. Required items include race bib, trail running shoes, hydration (minimum 300 ml for 7K, 500 ml for 17K), snack or energy food, carrying system (vest/hydrobag/running belt), mobile phone with GPX file, and basic first aid kit. Optional items listed for 17K include whistle, headlamp, and windbreaker. The organizer may alter event details for safety or force majeure.
