Gunungronggo Trail Run 2026
Gunungronggo Trail Run takes place on 1 November 2026 in Sumber Jenon, Desa Gunungronggo, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. The event follows routes that highlight local landmarks and rural scenery, including Sumber Jenon, Puncak Gunungronggo, Jembatan Pelor, rice fields, and forest sections.
Two race categories are offered:
- 7K Explorer category
- 17K Challenger category
The organizer provides participant facilities such as a jersey, finisher medal, BIB number, goodie bag racepack, refreshment, water stations, medical support, documentation, and a limited edition 17K finisher tee. Event facilities at the venue include an area for UMKM and food vendors, a medical post, prayer room, toilets, parking, photo booth, water stations, and an official merchandise booth.
Mandatory gear requirements differ by category and are checked before or during the race. Common required items include BIB number, trail running shoes, hydration (at least 300 ml for 7K and 500 ml for 17K), snacks or energy supplies, a vest or hydrobag, a mobile phone with GPX file, and a basic first aid kit. Additional optional items listed for the 17K category include a whistle, headlamp, and windbreaker. Participants are responsible for their health and must follow race officials' directions.
