Guana 50K and 12K Trail Races
The Guana 50K and 12K Trail Races take place at the Guana Research Reserve in South Ponte Vedra on December 6, 2026. The event is organized by JTC Running in association with 1st Place Sports and supports local conservation efforts.

- 50K team (2x25K)
- 12K
The 50K course is a 7.75-mile clockwise loop that begins and ends at the trail head. The trail is mostly hard pack, includes several oak tree roots, and is approximately 90% shaded. The 12K start line is moved forward on the trail to create the shorter distance. Time limits apply: 9 hours for the 50K, 7 hours for the 2x25K team, and 3 hours for the 12K.
Entry fees vary by date: through October 31, November, and day-of-race pricing are listed with higher platform fees shown on the registration site. The organizers state there are no refunds, deferrals, or transfers. Race day registration accepts cash or check only. The event has sold out in recent years.
Packet pickup is available on race day only at the start/finish area. All finishers receive finisher shirts and entrants receive a running hat. A post-race awards ceremony is held after the races. Parking inside the reserve is $3.00 per vehicle using the southernmost entrance just north of the Exxon gas station. Race photos are posted online after the event.
